There’s something special about sewing your own garments. It is a creative form of self expression as well as a very meditative process. By creating a hand made piece of clothing you are helping the environment and eventually making a well made, well fitted wardrobe that you will enjoy for years to come.
Angie Fleming has been sewing with a needle and thread from a very young age. She finally learned home sewing patterns and sewing machines by taking 2 years of clothing classes as an elective in high school. She then went on to get a degree in fashion design from FIDM in Los Angeles.
After a career designing home textiles and children’s costumes and accessories, Angie has come back to her hobby of sewing clothing for herself and would love to pass on this skill to others.
With professional teaching experience you can be assured that this patient, kind and creative teacher will get you sewing in no time!
